Claude Monet actually coined the term Impressionism with his painting Impression of a Sunset, so with whom better to study landscape painting! Monet was a master of using color and brushwork to evoke beautiful, natural light in his paintings. Often, as young artists, we draw images with a pencil, and fill them in with color, but come to our class to learn to draw with paint. Learning to SEE and to experience the possibilities of paint is the way to bring out your inner artist!
